hmmm...

I just realized that I have been writing two totally different novels, one a Gilmore-Girlsesque romcom, and the other a slightly pretentious, Alain de Botton inspired character study. After giving the matter some thought, I've decided to axe the romcom, because I just don't think I can keep that energy up.

However, this means that I am very, very behind as I head into Week 2, and my NaNoWriMo guide assures me that this will be the hardest of all the weeks. I can't wait!

As of writing this, I have consumed two gallons of coffee, three gallons of chai, and one half of a stale baguette. I feel like a writer already!

P.S. I just heard that this is also the National Blog Post Month, in which you are supposed to post in your blog every day. Since I have already failed at this task, I will be able focus all my creative energies on what will undoubtedly be my masterpiece, and save that challenge for next year.
